We love the Davis County Fair! Rick took the kids one evening and spent hours attending the performances, visiting the exhibits and eating the yummy food! And I got the night off. What could be better than that?
Carlie was so excited to come home and show me the pictures of all the fun stuff they did. The highlight was holding the tarantula. Davis didn't want to hold it, but changed his mind after they came home. So, Rick took a special trip back to hold the tarantula, scorpion and legless lizard. What a great dad!

That was a very cool thing to do Rick! I hope that you did something fun on your night off, Monica!
Congrats on your night off! I don't know if it is better to go out on those nights or just stay home and relax in the quiet! Your fair looks like fun! The Fresno fair is supposed to be really cool but it is also in the hood so I don't know if we will attempt it this year.
You can tell the kids had a great time, and the Dad! Pretty brave little kids -- love them!
Brave kids! You know, we have a tarantula. You guys are welcome to come hold it anytime. It is a little "agressive" though. Chet uses a turkey baster to change it's water. It strikes at the baster EVERY time. Then stays up on it's hind legs to show its fangs. It's creeping me out just thinking about it. Ewww!
Love the pictures of Davis all covered in flour. So cute!
