Dancin' Machine

Carlie is starting tap/ballet class next week. She was so excited when we picked up her dance attire that she had to try it on right away. Here is a video of our self-taught dancer, hopefully she will pick up a few new steps in her dance class. Davis loves to wear Carlie's ballet shoes and dance along with her. You can see he is wearing them in this video. Enjoy!

Sledding Adventure

Carlie has been begging for the last few weeks for us to take her sledding. So, we bought a couple of cheap sleds and went searching for a small hill. Sledding was one of my least favorite activities to do as a child since I always got cold fast. But being the great Mom that I am I decided to give it another try. Here are a few pictures from our outing. Carlie and Rick had lots of fun, but Davis and I were ready to go home after a few minutes. Davis only went down the hill once and then he was done for the day. The last picture is of Carlie crying all the way home because she was so cold. Reminds me of my sledding days!

Davis' goal this year- "Get rid of that baby fat!" He is getting our family motivated to get in shape!

Our Merry Christmas!

We have taken a little break from updating our blog but here are a few pictures from our Christmas Celebration. We had many fun events and enjoyed spending time with friends and family! The kids were at a perfect age this year, it was magical watching them on Christmas morning! My present from Rick was a vacation to Hawaii in 2009! I can't believe he has been saving for the last nine years so that we could go on this once-in-a-lifetime trip! Thanks Rick!

Davis' favorite thing about Christmas morning was the M & M's he found in his stocking. If you look close you can see chocolate around his mouth. He had them all eaten before he had opened any presents.
Carlie's big present from Santa was a play kitchen. It keeps Carlie and Davis entertained for quite awhile during the day!
